The Arbor 1 Mission Statement:

We must build relationships with the tree owners of Bend. Relationships are built through understanding other's needs and wants. Without relationships we cannot advocate on behalf of the trees and the urban forest. Without advocacy, the urban forest will suffer. The urban forest is a key component in determining quality of life in a community and a strong element in contributing to the community's health.
